——–EpiPen for schools program by Mylan!

Allergies and anaphylactic reactions are on the rise. With so many children affected, schools need to be prepared in case of an emergency.

Mylan Specialty has launched a program to help make EpiPens more accessible within schools through their EpiPen4Schools.com program. The program gives schools up to four free EpiPens or EpiPen Jrs to qualifying schools* through the program and now offers a training video for school staff and administrators. It even replenishes each EpiPen that’s used at the school. Through this program, Mylan supports the growing need for education among school staff about anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction.

The requirements are easy:

The program offers four FREE EpiPen® or EpiPen Jr® Auto-Injectors to qualifying public and private kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools in the U.S. Requirements to qualify for this offer include having a valid prescription. The products are available in the form of two EpiPen 2-Pak® cartons, two EpiPen Jr 2-Pak® cartons or one 2-Pak of each kind. Each EpiPen 2-Pak® contains two single auto-injectors, instructions for use and a EpiPen® Trainer, with no drug product or needle, to help patients become familiar with the administration technique.
