Challenge: Topical or Internal?

As I’ve been researching various skin issues that attack babies, toddlers and adults. I’ve come to this same question over and over again: Topical or Internal? America has been indirectly trained to follow this vicious cycle: Ailment —> Doctor’s appointment —> Prescription (cream or pills) = Problem solved….temporarily Most likely the ailment comes back and we begin the cycle all over again.  It’s no secret that the healthcare industry gives a lot of prescriptions to handle the symptoms instead of getting to the root of the problem. I’ve decided to come out of the fog to return to our grassroots Read More

Should you entertain an alternative method?

After the first NAET blog post by Jennifer went live, I was excited to see the outcome. Upon waiting for the part 2 to post, there was unexpected opposition to NAET treatment. I decided to try a new restaurant, one of those pre-cooked refrigerated dinner places. I figured it’s healthier, they’ll have plenty of variety and maybe this will be a great alternative to cooking. Puhleaseeee be an answer to my prayers. Despite the initial questioning, I still had hope as I starred at refrigerator after refrigerator full of tempting food that I did not Read More

Is this important for your itchy baby?

As some of you have read in my “Can this trump eczema?” post, we recently had a hard time this past weekend with an unexplained blood infection affecting our little one. It surfaced when we were almost 800 miles from home, of all times! As various tests and blood work was being performed, it was hard to make her happy. One the first day, the only thing that made her smile was leaving the hospital! Who could blame her. The next day a nurse, who was administrating her IV medicine, asked if she received a hospital bear. I quickly said Read More
